Are You Hot or Cold?

One of the greatest dangers facing the believer is not always an attack from the enemy. Sometimes it’s becoming comfortable in a condition God never intended us to remain in. You can attend church and still lose your passion. You can serve in ministry and still neglect your relationship with God. You can know the language of faith but stop practicing the disciplines that strengthen your faith. And the dangerous thing about lukewarmness is that it doesn’t always happen overnight. It happens gradually. You stop praying consistently. You stop spending time in the Word. You become comfortable missing opportunities to worship and fellowship. Eventually, what once convicted you no longer concerns you.
